Trekking to Gunung Stong

WELCOME TO GUNUNG STONG STATE PARK FOREST
This trip was the one and only trip that was organized by our school..
All 23 students had to carry their own heavy bag contained all their belongings and necessities to the campsite..that was at Kem Bahar in which according to our guide.. it is 450 meter from sea level..
We started our journey on 11 March...on a rainy friday morning..we were hiking to the camp..and passed by a 'jambatan gantung' and a cascading waterfall at the foothill...

The journey was quite challenging..especially to me..since i havent done heavy activities or any sport for quite sometime...i was breathless and had to stop to regain my energy and drink my 100 plus...:D..the route was also slippery as the rain did not stop from the beginning of our journey to the end..we were all freezing and wet...plus,the air was cold even the clock showed 12 noon..

This was our first stop after hiking for almost one hour..all the students were the first who arrived at the small 'wakaf'..and we were all waiting for ustazah lenny to arrive as she was at the end of the group..
While waiting, the students took a lot of pictures of the highest waterfall in the Souteast Asia..that could be seen from our stop..there were also other groups who passed by us..some were hiking up and some of them were going down...after half an hour, ustazah lenny arrived with her younger sister,Lina who used to be my classmate when i was in MMP..
